摘要

The La_(10)(Si_6O_(22)N_2)O_2 oxynitride has an apatite - type structure. The crystallographic sites, interatomic distances and cell parameters have been determined using the Rietveld method. The substitution of one lanthanum atom by many metals with different oxidation states has been studied. The substituting atom always occupies the 4(f) position and it is coordinated by 6 (+3) atoms.
