The overall surface of the milling media bodies acts strongly onto the rate of comminution. Selective function of the integral-differential kinetic equation may be repre-sented as the multiplication of the probability of the particles loading by the probability of the loaded particles destruction. Both probabilities depend on the milling media surface in different ways and the rate of comminution has the optimum with this surface. The three-param-eters mathematical model for the comminution process description and optimization is given and a good correspondence with experimental data is shown.
