A hydrogen-based energy society is expected to come true in the near future. For that,numerous hurdles would be on the road to realize. A hydrogen storage and transportshould be one of the important technologies for building the infrastructure all over thecountry. In this study, an attention to chemical hydrogen carriers is paid because those cancarry a comparatively large quantity of hydrogen more than c.a. 7g-H2/100g-carrier.It is demonstrated that a membrane reactor, which is a composite type of reactor andmake a combined reaction and purification possible, can efficiently recover the hydrogenfrom cyclohexane as a chemical hydrogen carrier.
