摘要

The flow-induced noise can seriously affect the accuracy of a sound intensity measurement in the presenceof (turbulent) flow. The use of a reference signal that is tmcorrelated with the flow noise can significantlyimprove the accuracy of a sound intensity measurement. The proposed sound intensity technique has beenexperimentally validated. An excellent result has been obtained for the case where the microphone noisedue to the flow is about 20 dB higher than the true sound signal.
