摘要

This paper presents a bidirectional ring YAG.CR~(4+) laser. We investigated the features of bidirectional generation in self-modulation and beat note regimes and explored the possibility of gyroscopic effect in the laser. The measurements of different parameters of laser generation, spectral characteristics of laser radiation and luminescence were performed at various temperatures of the active crystal. We also implemented numerical simulation of laser dynamics and showed that the size of lock-in zone decreases with increasing number of locked longitudinal modes.
