A semi-analytical fast computation method has been suggested for fluctuations of the direction of ray propagation in a chaotic space plasma with deterministic macro-scale irregularities of the refractive index. The method is based on the approximate solution of the boundary-value problem for trajectories with the use of direct Poincaré expansion. We have derived analytical expressions for statistical moments of the direction of ray propagation as well as a set of differential equations for calculating simultaneously deterministic and chaotic ray refraction. We have shown examples of implementation of the method suggested to estimate the angle-frequency regime of radio sounding of a chaotic plasma with macro-scale stratifications of the refractive index.
