摘要

This paper presents an analysis based on random vibration model, and investigates the mechanical behavior of serially connected isolation system of isolator on top of column. An analysis is performed based on random vibration model, and the mechanical behavior of serially system of isolator on top of single-column is investigated by exerting the vertical loading on the isolator corresponding to the horizontal displacement from the random response analysis. Different failure modes and their occurrence condition are discussed and the effect of rotation of the column top surface on the restoring properties is specially investigated. The result shows that the most dominant failure is type II buckling.
