In this article, there are presented few aspects of the research that was made by the authors in the field of Injection Moulding Tools made by Selective Laser Melting (SLM). There are several technological parameters that have a significant influence on the accuracy of the SLM process and the accuracy of injection moulding tools made by SLM, as well. The laser power, the scanning speed and the powder bed temperature are only few of these parameters that are important and were taken into account for the finite element analysis that was made using the Ansys program, in order to improve the accuracy of the injection moulding tools made by SLM, such as the resulted shrinkage will be minimum, at the end. The injection moulding tools were manufactured on SLM equipment, using the technological parameters determined within the finite element analysis that was made.
