摘要

Abstract: This paper gives a general formalism which can be employed to study the intensity of a pulse propagation through burning particles. To correct for multiple scattering effects, a modified extinction cross section obtained from multiple scattering theory can be used in the equation of radiative transfer to compute the specific intensity. Results of the computed reduced intensities using the multiple scattering efficiency and the extinction efficiency of a single particle are given.!
