Rapid Manufacturing and Virtual Manufacturing

摘要

With the development of advanced manufacturing technology, manufacturing industry is undergoing fundamental changes. This paper introduces two key technologies that will bring about fundamental revolutionary changes of manufacturing industry, i.e., rapid manufacturing(RM) and virtual manufacturing(VM). The paper focuses on the basic reference structure and related supporting technology of RM and VM.
