In this study, the travel times of the crests of tsunamis createdrnby a submarine mass failure that is settled at the bottom of thernnortheastern Sea of Marmara are taken into account using arnhybrid method comprising both analytical and numericalrnmethodologies. Tsunami amplitudes in the deep water arernobtained analytically up to the shallow water boundary, wherernthe time-series representing the tsunami amplitudes are obtainedrnanalytically. The outputs of the analytical solutions in therncommon boundary are the inputs for the shallow water, which isrnmodeled numerically by the finite-element method(TELEMAC).
