Under the wet tow condition;;a Truss Spar hull floats horizontally by itsrnown buoyancy and is exposed to dynamic wave loading and hull globalrnbending;;which can cause high stresses and significant fatigue damagernto truss members and heave plates. This paper provides in-depthrndiscussions on wet tow strength and fatigue analyses of the Truss Sparrnstructure. Methodologies and procedures based on time domainrnrandom wave simulations are discussed. Results are presented for anrnexample Truss Spar to illustrate the findings.
