摘要

The present study represents results of experimental and simulation investigations of a solar dryer underrnlaboratory conditions to dry algae. In order to accurately analyse the performance of the solar dryer, thernexperiments have been carried out under the controllable laboratory condition. In addition, controllability ofrnambient condition allowed analysing the drying kinetics of algae. As a heat source of the dryer, lamps withrnpowers of 500, 1000 and 1500W have been used. The different types of algae were used as the dryingrnmaterials. It has been observed that there is a good convergence between the obtained experimental andrnsimulation results.
