摘要

The proposed device for experimentally studying, in laboratory conditions, heat exchange processes in the active zone of a nuclear reactor contains a hollow rod fuel element with direct electric heating. The cross-section of the fuel element is shaped as four or six lobes. This feature provides a possibility to simulate nonuniform temperature distribution in a real fuel element for the square or triangle grid of a nuclear reaction.
