摘要

Subsea connector is widely used in the deep water field development.In the design of this machine FEA(Finite element analysis) is cost saving and effective.But because of the complicated contact conditions between parts of the connector, it is hard to reach convergence.Through the comparison between contact algorithms of explicit and implicit analysis it is found that explicit which is a dynamic solving method is applicable for the FEA of subsea connector.Considering the relatively slow locking speed explicit quasi-static analysis is the best choice.
