A visible-light driven photocatalytic fuel cell(PFC)system comprised of Cu2O/Cu/TiO2-NTs photoanode and CuO/TiO2 photocathode was established for providing a self-sustained and energy-saving way for simultaneous wastewater treatment and energy recovery.The Cu2 O/Cu/ TiO2 photoanode was synthesized by interrupted electrodeposition from a neutral solution of copper complex on the TiO2-NTs which was fabricated by a potentiostaticanodization.
