Investigations for an Automotive Life Cycle Engineering and Business Model

摘要

This paper describes a first approach to close the product life cycle of passenger cars. Starting with the context of the actual complex product development process where a lot of informations and knowledge were created. The lack of the link of End of Life vehicle to the origin one leads to strange elaborations of new car data. The european regulations to recycle 85% of an ELV leads to the wish of new dismantling methods. On some special examples with seats and cockpit modules a recycling business model and new design concept are presented.
