The Key Technology of 4G: MIMO-OFDM

摘要

Compares with the third generation mobile communication system, the fourth generation mobile communication system will provide higher data transmitting speed, much lower cost. In order to attain a technology of high speed and lower cost, the high frequency spectrum efficiency technology is premise. Thus, it can provide the higher transmitting speed and the system capacity on limited spectrum, such are MIMO technology and OFDM technology, the combination of the two technologies have already become the hotspot in the new generation mobile communication technology' s study. This paper respectively introduces the two kinds of technologies and their features, discusses the key of the realization of MIMO-OFDM technology, present the scheme of the two technologies' combination, prospect its development foreground.
