摘要

The production of aluminum castings for automotive applications involves a selection of the optimal technology which depends on both technological and economic factors.In high-pressure die casting,the resulting quality of the components is considered not as good as in alternative casting operations,(low pressure,squeeze casting).In contrast,this process has the capability for high production rates.Consequently,the justification for using this process,involves the balance between the need for high production volumes and sufficient standards for the product quality.
