The present disclosure concerns aluminum alloys which can be used in highpressurevacuum die casting operations, aluminum products comprising same and processusingsame. The aluminum alloy comprises, in weight percent:between about 5.0 and less than 8.0 of Si;between about 0.3 and about 0.6 of Mn;between about 0.1 to about 0.6 Mg;between about 0.003 to about 0.03 Sr;between about 0.03 to about 0.15 Zr;up to about 0.20 Fe;up to about 0.10 Ti;up to about 0.15 Mo; andthe balance being aluminum and unavoidable impurities.
