The Inamrsat-D service is a new global mobile satellite telecommunications service through the Station 12 Inmarsat satellite newwork,which support store-0and-forward short message communications.This service will be available in global and sporbeam in the Indian Ocean Region,The Atlantic and East region before the end of 1997 (The land of China has been covered by IOR satellite).POR is under consideration.
