During the execution of the Concert Hall in Kodály Centre – Pécs the selected unoccupied and occupied seats were measured in a reverberant room. The expected seat absorptions also could be controlled with the measurements in the hall with completed coverings without any seats, with the built-in seats (empty hall) and finally with audience during the test concert. The absorption data are compared with other data given in the literature. Finally, the measured room acoustic parameters plus the subjective judgement of the musicians and the public are also given.
