SELF-REGULATING PROCESSES-BASED MODELING FOR ARRHYTHMIA CHARACTERIZATION

We propose a new model for RR interval records based onrnthe empirical finding that the amplitude of RR records isrnnegatively correlated with its regularity. We develop thernmathematics needed to define rigorously this model, asrnwell as the statistical tools necessary for estimating the pa-rnrameters of the model on sampled data. We use this to an-rnalyze finely the impact of ventricular extrasystole of RRrnrecords, and to assess the efficiency of certain treatmentsrnon this pathology.
