Integrated optics (IO) applications to astronomical interferometry have been studied since 1996 at LAOG.rnHere we will present our developments and recent results. Following the frst IONIC on-sky measurementsrnin November 2000 with two telescopes, both the IONIC instrument and the IOTA interferometer have beenrnupgraded for the simultaneous combination of three telescope beams. First IO on-sky phase closure measurementsrnhave thus been obtained in February 2002. IO studies are also conducted in the scope of the ESArnIRSI/DARWIN space mission, including high level nulling interferometry and technological research and developmentrnprogram in order to extend the wavelength range to thermal IR. In parallel to beam combination, IOrnfunctions developed in the feld of telecommunication could be used, concerning for example metrology or fringerntracking applications.
