STATUS AND PROSPECTS OF SAFETY RESEARCH ABOUT FUEL CYCLE FACILITIES IN FRANCE

The safety of a nuclear installation is primarily the responsability of its operator. As an independant expert, the French IPSN performs research works to better assess the operators' proposals.rnThe foregoing shows that IPSN is carrying out works in all the main fields concerning the safety of plants and laboratories of the nuclear fuel cycle.
