Visual Simulation of Conceptual Design of Deployable Satellite Reflector Antenna

摘要

The deploy ability of a deployable satellite reflector antenna (DSRA) is one of the key problem of the conceptual design of a new DSRA. To solve the problem, a visual simulation method is proposed in this paper. It uses original unit to describe the deploying processes. By transforming the original unit, the visual simulation of a whole DSRA can be easily realized by using VRML. Such a method is simple but also effective, which can aid the designer for further design of a new DSRA.
