SYKE'S PROCESSING CHAIN FOR LANDSAT TM/ETM-IMAGES

摘要

Landsat Thematic Mapper and Enhanced ThematicrnMapper Plus images combine reasonably good spatialrnresolution with good combination of channels and largernimage size. The images produced by Landsats 4, 5 and 7rnfrom year 1984 provide unique and valuable dataset e.g.rnfor long term environmental monitoring and changerndetection studies, and provide the base for new satellitesrnlike Sentinel-2. The aim of this study has been torndevelop processing chain for archived LandsatrnTM/ETM-images from USGS, which would readrnimages to required format, make radiometric correction,rnremove unwanted areas from images and mosaic them.
