摘要

We used simultaneous remote sensing data in order tornassess the impact of biomass burning aerosols inrnAmazon’s radiative budget during the peak of biomassrnburning season for the years 2000 to 2009. The averagernvalue obtained by a combined analysis of two sensorsrnfor this 10-year period was -10.4 + 4.4 W/m~2 for thernshortwave direct radiative forcing at the top of thernatmosphere (TOA) of the whole Amazon region duringrnthe biomass burning season. This value is in goodrnagreement with other authors' estimates of the aerosolrnforcing over the area. We have also achieved the spatialrndistribution of that parameter over Amazon and studiedrnthe influence of surface reflectance in the radiativernforcing at the TOA.
