Integrated approaches to watershed restoration projects: dome creek, central british columbia, canada

摘要

In 1997, AGRA Earth & Environmental Limited (AGRA) conducted an Integrated WAtershed Restoration Plan (IWRP) in the Dome Creek watershed for Northwood Inc. The purpose of the IWRP was to prioritize sites based on risk to forestry and aquatic resources. During 1998, AGRA prepared permanent deactivation prescriptions for 10 of the highest priority sites within the watershed. This paper examines the process of prioritization of sites by risk analysis and the development of prescriptions for high risk sites while incorporating integrated resource values of other watershed users.
