This article presents a simulation method forrnpredicting the long-term energy performance of arncentral air-conditioning system serving interior zonesrnof buildings with similar daily cooling load profiles.rnThe method is based on a multiple psychrometricrnanalysis of the system, frequency-based climaternmodel, and a measured daily cooling load profile.rnComparison with existing simulation software isrndiscussed.
