A call given to a lift is divided into 2 calls, such that a passenger travels through many zones and transfer floors (TF1-TF5) to destination floor (Ft), so that allocation of latter portion of the trip is delayed than that of initial trip portion. A change between lifts of the group serving different zones, is performed on a transfer floor selected from preset transfer floors overlapping with the different zones.
