Human knowledge is one of the scarce resourcesrnand strategic assets of organization. Turnover inrnorganization has long been one of the major problems thatrnmost organizations are facing. Commitment is found tornbe a critical factor to sustain organizations' competitivernadvantages. The organizational commitment is derivedrnfrom group commitment within a particular organization.rnThis paper introduces long-term variable (grouprncommitment) of using GDSS and proposes a long-termrneffect of GDSS on group commitment. Socializationrntheory and team theory are used to explain the theoreticalrnbackground underlying the model.
