Frequency and Time Windowing Process for Isolating the RCS Target Spectra

Frequency and time gating methods are discussed for isolating the RCS target spectra. This method is developed to estimate the crack depth from its RCS dip frequency. From the RCS measurement of the crack on a finite conducting plate, the dip frequency can be recovered by selecting proper time gating span, which contains desired scattering signal from the target crack.
