The authors are introduced the differential equation for the load w that the line of thrust in the masonry arch bridge becomes arc. Solving the differential equation, an equation was obtained. In the numerical example, the authors compared with the actual load of the masonry arch bridge and the theoretical solution. In addition, using the theoretical load, the authors considered the construction procedures of the masonry arch bridge. Using this method, the authors proved the correctness of this equation.
