摘要

A practical approach is proposed for reliability analysis of rock tunnel excavations based on the moving least squares method based response surface (MLSM-RS).Uniform design is adopted to prepare the sampling points for determining the parameters of the MLSM-RS via an iterative procedure.A circular tunnel involving analytical solutions with respect to three performance functions is considered.The probability of failure is then estimated from FORM/SORM based on the generated MLSM-RS and compared with Monte Carlo simulations (MCS) and traditional polynomial response surface method (RSM) with respect to the three performance functions respectively.The results show excellent agreement with traditional polynomial RSM and MCS, which manifests the efficiency and the accuracy of proposed approach.And the impacts on reliability results for different basis functions in MLSM are also investigated.
