Many of the new algorithms are developed in cloud computing for load balancing. The key feature of cloud computing environment is load balancing. In this technique, it is mandatory to divide the dynamic workload across multiple nodes. It is used for minimizing the resource consummation after that it will reduce energy consummation, Carbon Emanation Rate (CER) that is the necessary condition of cloud computing. For researchers, it has ever been an attracted subject achieving a high user gratification and resource utilization. In this review paper, we have studied several approaches proposed by research scholars in the field of load balancing and analyse various LB techniques such as Round Robin, ACO, Max-Min, Min-Min and Biased Random Sampling. The major contribution of our paper is the representation of some existing LB techniques.
