Analysis of the Cooperation within Farmers Based on Economic Theories

摘要

Under the guidance of theory of the firm and cobweb theorem originated from the modern western economics, this paper centers on the inner economical motive of cooperation within farmers. According to the empirical analysis on typical cases, the conclusion that enhancing the bargaining power and reducing the operating risk in the market are the main reasons for the formation of farmer cooperative organizations can be drawn. Developing farmer cooperative organizations is very helpful with improving the disadvantaged position of farmers in the market trade and increasing their income, thus it should be supported by the government.
