摘要

This paper presents a part batching model for FMSs firstly. The factors taken intornconsideration include the FMS resources, production plan, machining processes, etc. Three stepsrnare needed to develop the FMS batching model: pre-batching, batching, and final adjustment. Tornrealize the batching process, an optimized algorithm is formulated, which provides a new approachrnto integrate static production planning and dynamic scheduling.
