摘要

The results of comparison of simultaneous partial discharge (PD) measurements by means of acoustic and electrical methods are presented. The difference between the single PD energies obtained by these methods was quantified. Since the acoustic method allows measuring only a part of the PD energy transmitted along the acoustic axis of the piezosensor, a method to evaluate a whole PD energy on the base of acoustic measurements is proposed. A point source acoustic wave distribution in dielectric medium was additionally investigated.
