摘要

With the aid of thermal model of battery and thermal simulation technology, the thermal behaviour of battery is researched in this paper. Computation of some physical property parameters of a 40Ah LiFePO4 battery is carried before the thermal simulation and test by several kinds of operating conditions. The simulation and test results are compared. The thermal model of lithium-ion battery is verified and the temperature gradient in the thickness direction is obtained. This provides a basis to the design and layout of battery thermal management system (BTMS).
