ICT: Today and Tomorrow

摘要

The concepts and features concerning ICT, Primary ICT, and Advanced ICT are made clear and the most often asked question of why ICT could play such an important role in development is explained in depth in the paper. The capabilities that Primary ICT and Advanced ICT can support for economic and social development are then respectively analyzed. As a result, the practical strategy in ICT for development in most developing countries is recommended. A-bove all, however, it is also recommended that ICT for education be put in the first place in any cases of the development as the factor of talent is always the No. 1 issue among all others.
