摘要

Coupled with adequate choice of trial functions, a simple recursive approach was developed to efficiently model symmetrical/asymmetrical multi-layered finline structures constituted of arbitrary isotropic and lossless dielectric layers. The proposed technique is based on an adequate extension of full-wave modal domain approach using the Galerkin's procedure where the mathematical concept of operators is used to more conveniently formulate the boundary conditions. The obtained numerical solutions achieved successful results through a close agreement with published data.
