Automated Fixture Design and Setup Planning

摘要

In order to earn market opportunities with intense competition, it is required for a flexible manufacturing system with rapid responses to design changes of product. Manufacturing planning makes a significant contribution to the production cycle. This research studies an automated fixture design system which is integrated with a feature analysis based setup planning system to enhance the flexibility of production systems and reduce the time required for manufacturing planning.
