Research on the De-icing Efficiency of Electrothermal Fan for the Post Insulator

摘要

The de-icing method of hot blast has anadvantage that it can be used while the electric equipment is running,butit needs further study for engineering application.In this paper,a series of tests were conducted to study the de-icingprocess ofhot blast.During the tests,wehave recorded the time ofcompletelyde-icingfor each one insulator and analyzed the de-icingefficiency of the electrothermal fanwhen it's in the condition of glaze icing.Through the de-icingeffect test and calculating the de-icing effi-ciency of electrothermal fan under the different icing thickness(10mm,20mm,30mm respectively)on three kinds of post insula-tor,we found that the average de-icingefficiency of the electro-thermal fanused in this test is about 6.5%,and there is no obvious relationship between de-icingefficiency and thetype of insulator or icing thickness.The relevant conclusions obtained in this paper can provide some references for practical application.
