摘要

The problem of damage detection can be stated as a numerical constraint satisfaction problem(CSP)using the vertical and rotational displacements of a structure as measurements.Firstly,the classic CSP has been improved for better damage location and external load identification.Structural damage is located according to the changes in relevant constraints related to specific elements or substructures.Then in order to avoid the use of rotational displacements that are difficult to measure in practice,an improved analytical redundancy reduction(ARR)method is also developed.The increments of ARRs can embody the property changes of damage elements.Lastly,the two methods have been validated using a numerical beam and the analysis results demonstrate their satisfactory performance in identifying external loads and damage locations.
