摘要

Fastener steel tube full-hall formwork support systems,as important load transfer systems,have been widely used in constructions of civil structures.In recent years,collapse accidents of such systems often occur due to insufficient load-carrying capacity mainly caused by the loss of stability.However,the design theory of full-hall formwork support systems is still not adequate and sometimes experiential measures should be taken.Therefore,this study attempts to investigate the buckling behaviours of different fastener steel tube full-hall formwork support systems for the sake of determining their stability and ultimate loads.Some key aspects such as joint rigidness of steel tubes and initial defect settings were first studied.Then the linear and nonlinear buckling analyses were successively introduced into the systems and the estimated ultimate loads were compared to the calculation results based on the Chinese codes for scaffold construction.Lastly,the rationality of the codes in the ultimate load estimation of fastener steel tube full-hall formwork support systems was discussed.
