摘要

Emission regulations for diesel-powered vehicles have been gradually tightening. Installation of after-treatment devices such as the diesel particulate filter (DPF) or De-NOx catalyst is indispensable to satisfy rigorous PM/NOx limits. Japan Clean Air Program Ⅱ (JCAP Ⅱ) Oil Working Group has been investigating of engine oil on advanced diesel after-treatment devices. As for continuous regeneration-type diesel particulate filter (CR-DPF), impact of oil-derived ash was studied through durability test and exhaust gas analysis test. As for NOx storage reduction (NSR) catalyst, sulfur effect derived from fuel and oil will be reported.
