Modification of Ptmsp Membrane by Surface Chlorization

The modification of PTMSP membrane by surface fluroination to enhance its permselectivity for oxygenitrogen gas pair has been reported (1,2). In this paper, surface cholorination of PTMPS membrane by mixed gas of chlorineitrogen was investigated. The surface after treatment was examined by ATR-FTIR, XPS, WAXD and conact angle measurement, and their permeability coefficient to oxygen and nitrogen were determined. The results were summarized in Table 1 and Figures 1-3.
