摘要

Poly (3, 4-Ethylenedioxythiophene) (PEDOT) films with smooth surface were deposited on Indium-doped Tin Oxide glass (ITO) electrodes using galvanostatic electropolymerization in propylene carbonate solvent. Their nonlinear optical properties were investigated by Z-scan technique at 532 run. The nonlinear refractive index n_2 and the third-order susceptibility χ~((3)) are -3.09×10~(-6) esu and 6.90×10~(-7) esu, respectively. The results indicate that the electropolymerized PEDOT films on ITO are promising materials for nonlinear optical devices.
