There are many influencing factors of power network on power line carrier communication. For example, high frequency channel parameters have some relations with feeder way of transformer substation, size of feeder interval, length of branch line, parallel distance for lines and bus scheme. Change of any factor will have effect on high frequency communication. When transmitting on the power line high frequency channel, the high frequency signal will still be affected by the operation mode of power system. such as lines of loop I and loop II interchanging or shut down and running simultaneously, interchange of main bus and bypass bus, ground fault of power line, planned maintenance, etc. Changes of these factors in the channel like corona discharge and noise interference all will affect power line carrier communication.
